2019 News 2019. 12. 16 - Prof. Choi has been appointed as Director of CREATES (Center for Research in Advanced Sensing Technologies and Environmental Sustainability). 2019. 12. 13 - Our Ph.D student, Yang Gao, has been selected as a recipient of a Graduate Student Excellence Award for Excellence in Research for 2020. 2019. 12. 10 - Yang and Maedeh received Graduate School Travel Grants. 2019. 12. 9 - Our article, "A portable, single-use paper-based microbial fuel cell sensor for rapid, on-site, water qulaity monitoring," has been accepted by Sensors. 2019. 10. 21 - Five papers have been accepted for oral/poster presentations at MEMS 2020 (Jan. 18-22, 2020, Vancouver, Canada) 2019. 8. 21 - Our article, "A Paper-based Biological Solar Cell," has been accepted by SLAS Tehcnology. 2019. 8. 14 - Our article, "A fully disposable 64-well papertronic sensing array for screening electroactive microorganisms," has been accepted by Nano Energy. 2019. 8. 7 - Four papers have been accepted for oral/poster presentations at 2019 MRS Fall Meeting and Exhibit (Dec. 1-6, 2019, Boston) 2019. 7. 26 - Dr. Choi is invited to give a talk at the 31st Annual Electronics Packaging Symposium - Small Systems Integration on Sep. 5 and 6, 2019. 2019. 7. 10 - Archita Kothari from Nirma University in India successfully completed her Summer 2019 Intership in Dr. Choi's Lab. 2019. 6. 6 - Many news agencies highlighted our work on solid-phase biobatteries for IoT, published in Journal of Power Sources.
